Chris Pratt: "Well you know, I told Chris and Phil, listen, please allow me to be your muse, dig into my life as much as you want. And they pulled that out of the zeitgeist. There was speculation around whether or not I would do Indiana Jones and I think that's why they put that in there, maybe hedging their bets in case I did that one day, the movie would hold up. But there's no more information about that now than there was before."

Making Star Wars: My sources tell me that the Jon Kasdan script for Indiana Jones 5 has now been pushed onto Cars and This is Us writer Dan Fogelman. The Kasdan Indy 5 script Jon Kasdan was working on focused on the Walbrzych Gold Train legend. Dan Fogelman's premise is not the same as the one in the Kasdan script.

Slashfilm: One of our own sources close to the production reveals that Kasdan's script did not involve the Nazi gold train story, but confirmed that Kasdan is no longer working on the project.

John DiLillo: "Kasdan really wants Indy to have an eyepatch in Indy 5 (because of a young Indiana Jones chronicles episode?) but Spielberg isn’t into it. Based on what was said, Spielberg does not sound into Indy 5 in general. He said pitched Steven Spielberg to do exactly this, and Spielberg kept being like, what? No. Literally what are you talking about."

James Rollins: "I would love to do that. It's so much fun, so I would do it in a heartbeat."

Disney: 7/9/21 - DIS - UNTITLED INDIANA JONES
May 21, 2019
Jonthan Kasdan: "While I did work on Indy for the better part of '18, the story I was working on had nothing to do with any gold train. Love Making Star Wars but his sources on that were... misinformed. As for the rest, I just hope we get a great Indy in '21!"

Harrison Ford: "He's in here somewhere (beard). He wants to come out. Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones, don't you get it? I'm Indiana Jones. When I'm gone, he's gone. It's easy. Get it in there (head). This is a hell of a way to tell Chris Pine. I'm sorry, man."

Harrison Ford: "It should be starting to shoot sometime next year. I'm looking forward to it. Things are coming along well."

Hugh Fleming: "Well, no, well, I don't know anyone at Marvel. I have no connections there and unless you know somebody it's really pretty much impossible to get anybody's ear. I don't have any, I don't think I have anyone, any colleagues who can give me an email address either so we'll see. I don't know, it might not be for me. I would like if it was."

Discussing Film: Steven Spielberg's Indiana Jones 5 is eyeing to begin filming in April 2020 in London.
September 12, 2019
Bryan Woods: "We went into Lucasfilm in the wake of A Quiet Place and they wanted to talk to us about Indiana Jones and Star Wars."
Scott Beck: "Without giving away too much... it was simply ruminating on if we did an Indiana Jones movie, what would we want to see in Indiana Jones? Or if we did a Star Wars movie, what's that chapter of the whole universe that we would want to see? So it very much was an open canvas talk. It started going down the line a little bit but, again, as Bryan said, it's just not our DNA. We would rather create what the next Indiana Jones could be. Which is ironic because Indiana Jones was solely created because Lucas and Spielberg could not do a Bond movie."

David Koepp: "I actually am again. I'm working on it again. We're still trying. And I think we've got a good idea this time. We'll see."
September 25, 2019
Alan Horn: "We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company."
November 6, 2019
John Rhys-Davies: "Well I keep sending signals that I'd love to be [involved] but I'm not on the mailing list at the moment. And I've got an idea that perhaps I'm not quite as politically correct enough to survive in it anymore. And that's for a number of reasons, adding to which Sallah is no longer a believable character given the history of the Arab world and the West since we did the first one."
