Indiana Jones 4 Tops Blunders List of 2008
23/12/08, 2:39pm EST

With a list of 64 continuity blunders and factual errors, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull has topped the list of the most mistakes filled film of 2008!

Indiana Jones' cinematic return came first in a new survey by film website moviemistakes.com. Fans spotted a huge number of mistakes in the Steven Spielberg movie - including the use of a Harley Davidson motorbike from 2000, despite the fact the film is set in 1957.

Movie mistakes editor Jon Sandys says, "With the budget of many movies, you'd think they could avoid mistakes like this, or at least use computers to cover them up, but they keep cropping up, and eagle-eyed movie fans keep spotting them."

The full list of 2008's movie blunders is as follows:

    1. Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - 64 mistakes
    2. Mamma Mia! - 44 mistakes
    3. The Dark Knight - 43 mistakes
    4. Twilight - 41 mistakes
    5. High School Musical 3: Senior Year - 41 mistakes
    6. Journey to the Center of the Earth - 31 mistakes
    7. Quantum of Solace - 23 mistakes
    8. Get Smart - 22 mistakes
    9. Step Brothers - 22 mistakes
    10. Iron Man - 21 mistakes

What's more interesting is the fact that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is currently the Indiana Jones film with the least mistakes at moviemistakes.com!

    1. Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - 133 mistakes
    2. Raiders of the Lost Ark - 96 mistakes
    3. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - 65 mistakes

And this isn't the first time Indy tops the movie blunders list either. The highest honors also went to Raiders of the Lost Ark in 1981 and again to the Last Crusade in 1989!
Only Temple of Doom didn't make the top as it had to make room for The Terminator in 1984.

Merry Christmas & I wish you all the best for 2009. Happy Holidays!
